The tracks for both the closet and the sliding glass doors are so dirty they are hard to open. I got a parking permit from the front desk which is run by Castle Resorts and they were beyond rude. Highly recommend!My husband and I just spent a wonderful 10 days in luxurious condo unit 914 on the 9th floor of the Mahana. However, the filth in the condo and not having sheets to prepare the sofa bed for sleep is unacceptable and by far the most ridiculous thing I’ve experienced while traveling with my family. We stayed in the unit a couple of our days, but every day we saw many spouts while eating breakfast! The apartment has a lot of deferred maintenance, again nothing that impacted our stay, but seems like this is a scam if you don't pay for the optional damage waiver you are going to pay for whatever random "damage" they will attribute to you. The sheets and pillow cases had stains. Breakfast was included i tried it one didn't bother the other three mornings you can read into that.We stayed there thing it would be a nice place . He also liked the view of the park from our lanai. The studio we stayed in had a very comfortable size. Bobby V's for Italian and don't miss the Chicken in the BarrelThere is an ABC store there as well, can get all your groceries and they have some really good prices on T shirts and the like.Room was clean and large, great staff, as far as we are concerned, there is no better place to stay on Kauai:)Enjoy if you choose to stay here.Upon arrival, we noticed there were many many issues with condo 1318 but most importantly at that very moment, there were no sheets for the sofa bed. The bathroom was dirty and had tooth paste spit on the door. 2. pool is not heated, we went for a swim at 8M and could not get in as it was cold.First of all we decided to travel before all the Covid-19 Pandemic happened so a couple of days into our trip they started to close down all restaurants, tours, activities, pools etc.But despite all the closures we would not change anything as Mr Rudolphs condo was one of best places we have stayed.
We loved the personal touch of water bottles and sunscreen along with beach towels that can be checked out for day trips. Glad to be home in the mainland, felt like a contestant on Survivor. At the ground floor has small shops and small cate. Very outdated furnishings. The rooms are outside and in some respects but our room on the 31st floor facing east toward the mountains was very very spacious with a mini kitchen dining table and chairs and a desk and a large fridge The bathroom was adequate and the bedroom side was quite large. I was very disappointed with the check in and check out experience. One point that really was uncomfortable - was that this building was a no smoking area. All three of us enjoyed our stay here. Some street noise but gets quiter around 10pm ....Nice beach, surfing lessons and swim area is close across raodI am completely happy with my recent stay at the Aston!
