There are underpasses for many of the major intersections, but not for all. The reason I chose the trails between Mesa and Chandler was because I needed the latitude for a "trail only" cross America ride from Canada to Mexico, otherwise, I probably would not have ridden these trails and I probably won't make a trip back to Arizona to ride trails.We ride this trail everyday! As you get to Central Ave. and continue to just west of the I-17 you hit a lot of underpasses which is awesome to not have to get off your bike.
