He was like, 'What position do you play?' I was like, 'Tight end.' So he said, 'OK,' and they went back.But Howard got the hang of his new position, so much so that now he's considered an NFL prospect and will play for the South in Saturday's Senior Bowl at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile."It was a pretty interesting transition because being a quarterback and being an offensive lineman are two different things," Howard said. "My grandmother is a highly respected woman. I move pretty well. The last name Howard is a highly respected last name, so I carried that with myself so I always carried myself to a higher standard, not try to do anything to cause my name to go down, just keep adding."I used to eat a whole pan," Howard said.Howard doesn't look the same as when he called signals for the Monroe County Tigers, but some things haven't changed about him."So I always kept that with me because growing up in Monroeville, it's a small town. It's what you do with it,'" Howard said.
"You've got to have a different mindset at quarterback than you do as an offensive lineman.
