Worth Zoo gets lauded, I think it's a bit overrated. Seeing the chimps climb up the ropes is so cool. The size of the habitats is the best I have seen, by far, in comparison to other zoos.
The Fort Worth Zoo is a zoo in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, that was founded in 1909 with one lion, two bear cubs, an alligator, a coyote, a peacock and a few rabbits. It used to be just an aerial view of the exibits you can see on foot but the new one is like a whole other zoo itself! I have a membership so I go a couple times a year in the fall and spring and the primates are always pretty active. TIME MARCHES ON and that is no longer the case. Their primate enclosures are awesome too. The Dallas Zoo does have some serious flaws, though. Prices for Wednesday only are $7 for adults, $5 for children (3-12) and $5 for seniors 65 and older. I won't rant (since they have everything you can imagine and more) but I will drop a pro tip that even in the winter this place is awesome. They made really good use of the limestone cliffs Oak Cliff has and the different mountain goats look right at home scaling them.
