But after the band split up in 1974, Alice went in a much more theatrical direction, almost as if the music were secondary to the live performance.
The album’s influence also echoed throughout rock history – Talking Heads’ David Byrne has said that Billion Dollar Babies inspired him to write the band’s hit track Psycho Killer.
